Facebook has a history with its users that whenever they change their UI, users will hate it at first, but will then grow to love it and the complains stops, then the UI changes again and well, the cycle keeps repeating even until today with its tiniest little changes.

With their big headline “Goodbye clutter. Hello bright, beautiful stories”, the new interface definitely looks a lot like Ubuntu’s Unity (the sidebar) and Google+’s sidebar had a baby together.
This does seem like a major UI overhaul for the web version, though there aren’t much changes on Android and iOS versions other than the extra calendar feeds and minor tweaks to picture stories but Facebook promises it’s a unified experience.
