Over the past few weeks, the gaming world has only one word that rang over and over again – Vega. It’s something that everyone’s been anticipating for weeks to come, and now it’s finally here. Vega is an entirely new architecture, and here ASUS is announcing a total of 4 different cards – including the ASUS RX Vega 64 graphics card – including the Strix variant.

First off, let’s talk about the new Strix RX Vega 64. It has a few new features that only ASUS has to offer:

  • Ultimate cooling: MaxContact technology, patented wing-blade IP5X-certified fans, and ASUS FanConnect II
  • Premium quality and reliability: Industry-exclusive Auto-Extreme technology and Super Alloy Power II components
  • Customized gaming: ASUS Aura Sync lighting for system personalization and VR‑friendly design with two HDMI ports

As Vega cards are beefy, ASUS implemented their newly-developed MaxContact technology for flatter surface and more contact area between its copper heat-spreader and the GPU die itself to maximize heat transfer. Of course, it does have the three patented wing-blade 0dB fans for the literally dead silent PC too.

Other than the Strix RX Vega 64, ASUS is also bringing in the non-Strix versions of RX Vega 64 – namely the water-cooled edition and the air-cooler edition, which will be available starting mid-August.

Prices are not available yet, but we’ll surely keep you updated when we have the information.

As we’re all interested in its specs, here’s what the ASUS RX Vega 64 graphic cards’ specs are:
