You can save a life! Yes – you! How? Simple, just download the First Aid App and have it handy. It’s an educational app on how to act when a medical emergency comes up.
Here’s how it works.
When you have some time, just launch the app and you’ll see first aid advice through videos, animation, and even interactive quizzes to ensure that you understand. These emergencies include burns, broken bones, and even asthma attacks. These emergencies are obviously not Malaysian-specific only, as even emergency for severe winter weather is on the list.
As said by Dato’ Sayed A. Rahman bin Sayed Mohd, Secretary General of the MRCS – “during an emergency, a lack of first aid knowledge could lead to lasting injuries and
disabilities, and even unnecessary deaths.”
It’s definitely not a thing to joke about. I mean, sometimes something simple as a piece of food stuck in someone’s throat can indeed cause some major side effects.
