Oh let’s not forget about the connectivity available for this mouse alone. It can connect up to three different devices at once, and is able to toggle between each of the devices with a press of a button – I meant the one at the back of the mouse.
Keep in mind though that the Unifying dongle here is meant for those devices that does not have Bluetooth – and that said, the Unifying dongle takes up one device on the MX Anywhere 2 mouse – that means in whichever configuration the MX Anywhere 2 is used, in whichever number of Unifying dongles are connected, there are only a maximum of 3 devices that can be connected at once.
Do check out our video above too – we did a brief explanation on how the mouse works while connected to 3 different devices at the same time.
Is three devices enough? Probably yes – at least in most cases. I showed in this case is where I have one laptop using Bluetooth, another laptop using Unifying dongle, and lastly the ZenFone 2 using Bluetooth. The switching process is instantaneous – just press the button and the next number one the mouse lights up and it’s ready to go.
