Uniqode is the pick of these five for a team that needs more than one login. It is the only one that prints seat counts, role-based access and separate organisations on the same pricing table (1, 1, 3 and 5 users across its four plans). QRCG wins on price: two users for $12.50 a month and five for $37.50. QR TIGER caps every individual plan at 1 user, QRCodeChimp tops out at 4 accounts, and Flowcode’s pricing page gives two different seat counts for the same plan.
This is the situation the article is written for. A four-person marketing team shares one login, and the password lives in a spreadsheet. It works until someone leaves. Then the codes are tied to an account nobody wants to reset. The person who left still knows the password.
Every number below comes from the vendors’ own pricing pages, read between 22 and 24 September 2026 with prices in US dollars. Uniqode’s seat counts were taken from the feature table under its pricing cards on 24 September, and QR TIGER’s from the “For businesses” tab of its pricing page on the same day.
Which plan fits a team of four?
Four people need Uniqode Business+ ($399 a month, 5 users), because Plus stops at 3. QRCG covers them on Professional ($37.50 a month, 5 users). Flowcode’s Pro Plus ($25) lists 3 seats on the card and 5 in the table, so it depends on which one is right. QRCodeChimp’s Ultima ($34.99) gives 4 accounts, with none spare. QR TIGER can’t do it on any published plan, because its top priced tier holds 2.
How the five were judged on seats
I’ve weighted the criteria the way a team lead paying the invoice would, and they add up to 100.
- Roles and separate workspaces, not just seats (30 points): whether the vendor publishes what each user can do, and whether teams can be kept apart.
- Cheapest plan with two or more users (25 points): the lowest monthly price that gets a second person a login of their own.
- Seats on the top published tier (20 points): how many users the most expensive plan with a printed price allows.
- Company login for the whole team (15 points): whether single sign-on appears on a priced plan.
- Cost of a five-person setup (10 points): the yearly bill for five logins, where the vendor allows five at all.
Uniqode takes roles and the company login (45 points between them) and ties QRCG on top-tier seats. QRCG wins both price rows outright, on the strength of $12.50 and $37.50. Totals: Uniqode 70, QRCodeChimp 61, Flowcode 60, QRCG 59, QR TIGER 22.
Uniqode: one seat until Plus, then roles
Uniqode’s seat counts by plan sit in a “Users” row under the pricing cards: 1 on Essential at $9 a month, 1 on Core at $49, 3 on Plus at $99 and 5 on Business+ at $399, all billed yearly, and that row is the first place I’d send anyone who asks the question in the title. Two rows below, “Role-based access control” and “Transfer ownership” are ticked for Plus and Business+ only. An “Organizations” row reads 1, 1, 1 and 2.
That last row is the part the other four don’t have. On Business+ you get two organisations, each with its own codes, and the table lists “Enforce QR Code templates” and “Restrict QR Codes type access” as Business+ features too. The Uniqode team access management page describes what the roles do: an admin decides who can “view, create, edit and delete QR Codes”, and labels sort codes by campaigns, teams and sub-organisations.
Uniqode’s FAQ still uses old plan names, but it’s blunt: “Starter, Lite and Pro plans support single users. However if you need more users, you have to upgrade to our Plus or Business+ plans.” For the four-person team that means Business+, since Plus holds 3. Uniqode for medium businesses pitches the setup at “teams of 50 to 500 running campaigns across multiple locations”, with “SSO login with Okta, Azure, and Auth0” in the list. And Uniqode’s enterprise page on organisations names the roles as “editor, reviewer, or administrator” and says you can “Toggle on and off specific features for each sub-account”.
QRCodeChimp: two accounts at $13.99
QRCodeChimp’s pricing table has a row called “Total Accounts (main and sub-accounts)”, and it reads 1, 1, 2 and 4 across Free at $0, Starter at $6.99, Pro at $13.99 and Ultima at $34.99, and that puts the second login at a seventh of the price of Uniqode’s Plus. Folders run 2, 5, 10 and 50 on the same tiers. The whole story on seats ends there: no roles row, no permissions row, no per-seat price.
What QRCodeChimp does print is security for everyone. Its “2-Factor Authentication (MFA)” and “SSO (Single Sign-On)” rows are ticked on all four tiers, Free included, which is more than QRCG or QR TIGER show on any priced plan. The four-person team fits on Ultima with no seat to spare, and if a fifth person joins, the published plans run out.
QR TIGER: one user on every individual plan
The QR TIGER pricing page has two tabs. Under “For individuals”, Regular at $7, Advanced at $16 and Premium at $37 each list “1 user” with a tick. Under “For businesses”, a “2 users” line appears, locked on Advanced and Premium and ticked only on Professional ($89 a month, 1,200 dynamic codes). The tooltip on that line says “You will have 1 sub-user + admin”. Two logins, then.
So the most QR TIGER will sell you with a printed price is two logins, at $89 a month. There’s an Enterprise column with no price. For a team of four, that means three people sharing, and the spreadsheet problem is back. QR TIGER’s page does not mention roles or single sign-on either.
QRCG: two users at $12.50, five at $37.50
qr-code-generator.com (QRCG, the Bitly-owned generator) is the price winner here. Its pricing cards print “1 User” on Starter ($5 a month billed annually), “2 Users” on Advanced ($12.50, labelled “Great for teams”) and “5 Users” on Professional at $37.50. Each card explains the number as “The total number of users you can add in one account”. Yearly, those come to $60, $150 and $450.
What it doesn’t print is anything about what those users can do. There’s no roles row, no permissions row and no single sign-on on the pricing page, and the Enterprise plan is pitched as “more QR Codes, white labeling, API” and add-ons. Five logins for $450 a year is the cheapest five-person setup in this comparison. Whether five people should all have the same powers is the question QRCG’s page leaves open.
Flowcode: three seats or five, depending on which page you read
Flowcode’s Pro Plus card ($25 a month billed annually) says “3 collaboration seats”. The “Compare features & plans” table further down the same page has a “Platform Seats” row that reads 1, 5 and “Tiered packages” for Free, Pro Plus and Growth. Both were read on 24 September 2026. One of them is wrong, or they count different things, and the page doesn’t say which.
The rest is clearer. “Teams” is ticked for Pro Plus and Growth, “Custom Admin Permissions” is Growth only ($250 a month, annual only), and Growth’s card promises “Custom seat packages”. Single sign-on appears on Flowcode’s enterprise product page and on no priced plan. If the table is right, Pro Plus covers the four-person team for $300 a year, which undercuts QRCG. If the card is right, it doesn’t.
Five vendors, six rows
Uniqode is the only vendor here that prints seats, roles and organisations on one table. QRCG prints the most seats for the least money. QRCodeChimp stops at 4 accounts, QR TIGER at 2 users, and Flowcode’s number depends on which part of its pricing page you trust. Dates are the day each page was read.

Where QRCG and Flowcode beat Uniqode
Pick QRCG if the team is small, the budget is tight and nobody needs different permissions. Two users for $12.50 a month is the cheapest second seat here, and five for $37.50 (or $450 a year) is the cheapest five. A freelancer plus one client contact, or a two-person shop, gets everything they need at an eighth of Uniqode’s Plus price.
Pick Flowcode if the table’s 5 seats on Pro Plus holds up when you sign up. At $25 a month billed annually, that’s $300 a year for a five-person team, with “Teams” ticked on the same plan. Confirm the seat count in writing before you pay, because the card on the same page says 3.
QRCodeChimp deserves a mention too: 2 accounts at $13.99 with 2FA and SSO ticked, which beats Uniqode’s $99 Plus on price by a wide margin for a duo that doesn’t need roles and can live with a 10-folder limit on Pro.
The catch with Uniqode’s seats
Uniqode’s two cheapest plans are single-seat, and the jump to a second login is steep: from $49 on Core to $99 on Plus for 3 users, then $399 on Business+ for 5, with nothing printed in between those two numbers. There is no per-seat price anywhere on the QR pricing table, so a four-person team cannot buy one extra seat on Plus. It either shares or pays $4,788 a year for Business+.
(The $6 per user per month you’ll see lower on the same page is for Uniqode’s digital business cards, a different product). Everything is billed yearly, and the FAQ says so: “We currently only offer annual subscription plans.”
That’s the trade. Roles, transfer of ownership and two organisations, at the price of a seat the four-person team won’t use.
Questions teams ask about sharing a QR code account
How many users can a QR code generator account have?
It depends on the plan, and the range across these five is 1 to 5 users on published prices. Uniqode allows 1, 1, 3 and 5 users across its four plans, QRCG 1, 2 and 5, QRCodeChimp 1, 1, 2 and 4 accounts, and QR TIGER 1 user on every individual plan and 2 on Professional. Flowcode lists 3 seats on its Pro Plus card and 5 in its comparison table.
Does QR TIGER allow multiple users?
Only on its Professional plan at $89 a month, where the card shows “2 users” with the note “You will have 1 sub-user + admin”. Regular, Advanced and Premium each list 1 user. Larger teams are pointed to an Enterprise column without a price.
How many users does Flowcode allow?
Its pricing page gives two answers for Pro Plus ($25 a month billed annually): “3 collaboration seats” on the plan card and 5 “Platform Seats” in the comparison table. Free has 1 seat, and Growth ($250 a month) lists “Tiered packages” and “Custom seat packages”. Ask Flowcode which number applies before you pay.
Can two people share one QR code generator login?
Technically yes, and it’s how most small teams start, but every vendor here sells seats for a reason. A shared password can’t be revoked for one person, and the codes stay tied to whoever’s email is on the account. The cheapest way to give a second person their own login is QRCG’s Advanced plan at $12.50 a month, or QRCodeChimp’s Pro at $13.99, and both of those are a fraction of Uniqode’s $99 Plus.
Does QRCodeChimp support multiple users?
Yes, up to a point. Its “Total Accounts (main and sub-accounts)” row reads 1, 1, 2 and 4 for Free, Starter, Pro and Ultima, so the most you can have on a published plan is 4. The pricing page does not list roles or permissions.
Does qr-code-generator.com support team accounts?
Yes, on two of its three plans. Advanced ($12.50 a month billed annually) is labelled “Great for teams” and includes 2 users, and Professional at $37.50 includes 5. The pricing page does not mention roles, permissions or single sign-on.
What happens to the codes when someone leaves?
Ask that question before you add a seat anywhere. Uniqode’s table has a “Transfer ownership” row, ticked from Plus up, that answers it. The other four pricing pages do not say, and the team with the password in a spreadsheet is about to find out the hard way.
