So I recently got my hands on the local retail unit of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the company’s latest and most premium flagship tablet. The box was… rather big and heavy. Here, I decided to document everything for you to see as well.
You see, from Samsung’s website, the Malaysian unit gets the keyboard included in the box too. Strange, because that is not included in other countries (like the U.S.).
Ahhh… that explains the weight. The unboxing experience is pretty nifty here. When we open up the lid, we’re presented with yet another cardboard box. We’ll remove the cardboard box for now.
Underneath the cardboard box, we have the tablet, wrapped in a protective fabric material.
Underneath the tablet, we have the other accessories box, and also the S Pen.
And yes, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra does have a notch – but it’s a very tiny indentation that I think many people won’t even realize that it’s there. It’s definitely not something that I’ll care about since this tablet screen is so big that it is literally bigger than my laptop’s screen.
After putting all the included accessories in the box onto the tablet, we have the complete desktop replacement tablet – ready to go. We have the kickstand, the Book Cover Keyboard that also has a trackpad, and also the S Pen.
We can get so many things done with this device. Be it reading documents or books, drawing or illustrations, typing, Netflix, YouTube, or even gaming – this tablet is going to be great for those purposes.
We’ll have our full review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra coming soon – so stay tuned for that!
