OPPO’s INNO DAY 2022 has shown off a lot of things but the spotlight is definitely given to the moment when the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip are showcased to the public. But for those who are looking to acquire the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 competitor, there’s a piece of bad news.
Following GizmoChina‘s write-up, OPPO’s official announcement covers both the Find N2 and N2 Flip but as expected, the 2nd generation of the horizontal foldable smartphone will still be China exclusively similar to the Find N launched in the same month but last year.
However, the Find N2 Flip will be launched and shipped globally in the near future and the reason behind such a decision is attributed to app compatibility issues where dynamically scaled interfaces are still in an immature state unfit for a global launch.
Whereas the vertically-folded Find N2 Flip will have no issue as every graphical element fits the same as a traditional candy bar-style smartphone. It is just the clamshell design makes the device looks compact and square.
Earlier leak reports the Find N2 Flip is fitted with a 6.8-inch inner display and 3.26-inch cover screen and powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC with a 4,300mAh battery and 44W fast charge. Camera-wise, it is a 50MP+8MP dual setup.
