HP’s CES 2023 involves several categories of products as they gear up to release them for this year and fans can look forward to what’s coming in the near future.
Laptops
First on the list are their productivity class laptops of the Dragon G4, EliteBook 1040 G10, and Elite x360 1040 G10 which has been blessed with more tools for extended collaboration such as the all-important Multi Camera Experience which can capture both video streams and camera at once with Picture-in-Picture mode or straight up side-by-side. With it, presenters who rely on delivering handwritten information can more easily communicate with the audience.
The experience is further elevated with Auto Camera Select in which the system will know which camera unit to use and adjust to keep the presenter highlighted at all times while Keystone Correction automatically adjusts any flat surface to match the viewing angles of an individual. Need to catch a break? Be Right Back helps you frame a still picture in place of you while you run off.
Notable features in general also include Intelligent Hibernate to save as much battery as it can or the Smart Sense function optimizing thermal performance for the best fan noise to processing power possible.
And yeah, they use a lot of recycled materials for them as well with a heavy focus on recycled magnesium at 90%.
Eco-Products
To double down on environmental sustainability, HP also revealed a couple of Eco Edition products such as the HP 14 Eco Edition in addition to the 27-inch All-in-One all use more recycled materials both inside and outside of the device.
Multiple kinds of materials are used from the usual recycled plastics to aluminum and polyester to coffee grounds (Yes, coffee grounds). Their shipping packages are 100% made from these otherwise wasted bits going to the dump to make sure they are to be recycled yet again.
TWS
A bit of an oddball, HP decided it is time for them to expand their TWS business by introducing the pro-grade TWS Poly Voyager Free 60 usable for both calls and music listening with up to 5 hours of battery life while the charging case provides another 10. There will be a special “+” version where the charging case is a smart case hosting an OLED touch-screen on the top case to give users quick access to volume and mute functions, device info, and more. Colors include carbon black and white sand.
OMEN Gaming Hub
For this one, HP’s gaming division OMEN is teaming up with NVIDIA by adding Team Green’s GeForce NOW cloud streaming platform directly into the OMEN Gaming Hub software.
Therefore, in the upcoming products such as the OMEN 17 gaming laptop with up to the Intel Core i9-13980HX and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series Laptop GPUs or the OMEN 25L / 40L / 45L gaming desktops, you’ll find the service directly accessible out of the box (Although I’m not sure why would anyone need to stream from the cloud when u already rock the best gaming hardware you could).
