Finally, the OnePlus 11 5G has been launched officially in Malaysia and its price tag, at least for me, is fully acceptable for what it has to offer.
If you don’t mind the video format, just watch our review up here. In short, the OnePlus 11 5G has kind of returned to its roots and the way we phrase that is that the last year 10 T 5G lost its OnePlus spirit in general, to the point that I would call that a well-made and designed phone if I don’t know that’s a OnePlus device.
But anyway, this year’s offering really pushed the starting price to the bottom due to the fact that they are offering 128GB storage models which are plentiful enough for people that do not take photos and videos every day. The return of the Hasselblad logo also means that its camera is top-notch too – something missing from the 10T 5G and it performs worse than we expected to be honest.
Here’s a quick refresh of its specs.
- 6.7-inch LTPO3 Fluid AMOLED Display
- 1440p Resolution
- Middle Punch Hole Notch
- 120Hz Refresh Rate
- HDR10+ Support
- 1300nits Peak Brightness
- Dolby Vision
- 1 Billion Colors
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset
- Up to 16GB RAM
- Up to 256GB Storage
- Triple Back Camera (By Hasselblad)
- Main: 50MP f/1.8 with omnidirectional PDAF, IOS
- Telephoto: 32MP f/2.0 with PDAF, 2X Optical Zoom
- Ultra-Wide: 48MP f/2.2 with AF
- 16MP Selfie Camera
- 5,00mAh Battery
- 100W Fast Charge
- Titan Black, Eternal Green Colors
Despite the subject of storage capacity being a moot point, the RAM on the other hand pretty much makes less sense the higher you go as the current demands of 2023 in almost all cases, require no more than 8GB. Here’s why.
Aside from the phone, the OnePlus Buds Pro2 utilizes the MelodyBoost dual drivers to deliver a whole and full sound output with up top 48dBa noise cancellation for that quiet and music-only session.
Adding the super fast charge delivering 10 hours of audio with just 10 minutes of charging, the TWS is Hi-Res certified, Google Spatial Audio and Fast Pair compatible, and has up to 39 hours of playback time in total.
