A couple of new IdeaPad products by Lenovo have been announced by the brand at Mobile World Congress 2023 happening over in Barcelona.

Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3i

The name of the game this time around is dedicated to extremely lightweight users in the form of the latest generation of IdeaPad Duet 3i. The detachable form factor is powered by an efficient Intel N series CPU for students and any jobs that primarily deal with paperwork.

At just 8.95mm, one can bring it around and complete their task anywhere they wish thanks to everything being easily removable, including the touchscreen and keyboard. Turning back the subject back to the display, it has been upgraded to an 11.5-inch 2K panel with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

The overall battery longevity is also quite good at up to 8.5 hours per full charge while the 8MP rear + 5MP front camera can be useful in terms of serving as a webcam and temporary photography device.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook

On the other hand, Chromebook fans may like the IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook equipped with MediaTek Kompanio 500 series processor in a 14-inch form factor that hosts an FHD IPS touchscreen with 100% sRGB, resulting in up to 13.5 hours of use time that eliminates the need to carry power bricks around.

At just 1.3kg, it is light enough to not overburden the shoulders and you may find some good points all around as well including USB-C ports, an FHD webcam with a physical shield, tuned front-faced speakers, and more.

Price and Availability

The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3i will launch officially starting June at the starting price of EUR449 (~RM2,140.03) while the IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook comes slightly earlier in May and starts from EUR339 (~RM1,663.41).
