Xiaomi Malaysia has announced the arrival of the new Redmi 12 which is set to become readily available on July 15.
Although the entire spec sheet might not sound as impressive, the fact that it can do so at the lowest price point of RM499 makes it quite the value.
Despite not being super powerful, I’d rate the entire thing as “boleh pakai lah” since it is just a budget smartphone you can’t really ask for more when there’s a 90Hz screen, large battery, and yes – 3.5mm headphone jack.

Price and Availability
Two configurations are available for the Redmi 12 – 4GB+128GB at RM599 and 8GB+256GB at RM699.
The former will have limited unit sales that priced it RM100 lower which is RM499 net total.
A quick reminder again is that the big day is set to be July 15 with Lazada and Shopee being your usual online platform and Authorized Xiaomi Stores and other official retailers handling offline orders.
