Qualcomm has announced several additions to the Snapdragon G Gaming Platform – a branch that primarily focuses on handheld gaming thanks to the rise of cloud gaming and mobile processing power in general.
The first thing to know about the family is that Qualcomm is positioning its offerings into 3 tiers – G1, G2, and G3 and the higher the number, the stronger they are.
As for when will we see them popping up in partner offerings like those from Logitech, Razer, AyaNeo, Huaqin, and Inventec, the chip design firm says that reference design samples have been handed out so it is now entirely on the OEMs and ODMs’ schedule.
Now for the details of the actual chips themselves, let’s just make them simple to read in a table.
