Acer Malaysia has launched 3 new products last week which are the Swift Edge 16 laptop and a couple of AIO desktops, the Aspire S32 and S27.
Let’s start with the Swift Edge 16 – a device that focuses on minimalistic design in order to push more value into processing power and the good ol’ OLED display.
The screen is a nice 3.2K OLED panel capable of refreshing up to 120Hz and responding as fast as 0.2ms alongside 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and VESA DisplayHDR 500 certification which is a complete package for both work and entertainment.
The 12.95mm and 1.17kg magnesium alloy chassis hosts an AMD Ryzen 7000 series mobile CPU in models of either the Ryzen 7 7735U or the Ryzen 5 7535U which is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The new TwinAir cooling technology with enhanced fan and air inlet keyboard design makes sure the machine always runs cool while the extra encryption chip Microsoft Pluton is also inside to provide another layer of security.
As for the AIO desktop department, the Aspire S32 and S27 are here to create an even better workspace without sacrificing room space and instead only a simple table.
Their naming is pretty straightforward – the S32 runs a WQHD 31.5-inch screen (funny, yes i know) with 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU while the S27 is given a WQHD 27-inch and 12th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU instead.
The smooth aluminum chassis gives a modern feel while the ergonomic tiltable display can be adjusted according to one’s needs while the dual speakers pack immersive audio with DTS surround sound tech.
As for the webcam, the S32 has a better-than-average 1440p QHD unit with ring light while the S27 goes for the standard 1080p instead.
