Premium audio solution brand Ruark Audio has brought in the latest R100 series of offerings with the help of its Malaysian partner VSTECS.
Before you ask, yes, that little “wooden box” on the table is the new product.
Given the name of R410, the R100 series is aiming for a 70s-inspired look without losing the core identity of Ruark’s design where its customer base often adjusts or morphs their interior theme around products so perhaps you’ll feel that hint of nostalgia in you.
The natural and warm sound signature is further expressed through the long-throw NS+ bass-mid-units that are the largest by far for superior yet controlled bass delivered through a natural mid-range while the custom 20mm tweeters deliver extra detail and ambiance.
The R410 also has some special treatment where Ruark Audio gave it a new generation of digital amplifiers with even higher efficiency output and ultra-low distortion alongside a complete 2-channel amplifier assembly mounted directly on the back of each bass-mid-unit for the shortest latency.
Design-wise, not only does the signature wood enclosure bring out the Ruark vibe, but the front grille uses a new sustainable wood material that can be farmed under environmental-friendly conditions, but also after some processing of splicing, recomposing, and coloring, it matches very closely to slow-growing hardwoods.
The bread and butter RotoDial control system found on every product since 2006’s R1 is now better too, and there’s a matching rechargable remote with Bluetooth connectivity for easy control.
Lastly, not only it is for the “wired only” audiophile gang, but the R410 is also designed for the wireless streaming of the highest audio file encoding quality as it supports Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple AirPlay, and Chromecast built-in.
Oh, let’s not forget the front-facing display with vibrant colors for an added touch.
Price and Availability
At a whopping RM8,899, the Ruark Audio R410 will be made available in the coming months but as early as this month across online platforms like Shopee and Lazada alongside offline channels including but not limited to:
