Apple has been getting into the gaming market and they’ve been showing us that they can do what we thought was impossible – playing AAA games on our mobile devices. Newer iOS and iPadOS devices can already play Resident Evil Village – and now they’re bringing Assassin’s Creed Mirage into the App Store too.
iPhone 15 Pro & Max models that are using the A17 Pro chip and every iPad powered by the M1 or later – including the iPad Air and iPad Pro – will be able to play Assassin’s Creed Mirage natively on the device – and it will be available on 6th June 2024.
It’s amazing to see Apple taking such a leap forward to bring such a new game to their mobile devices. Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released in October 2023, and it’s available on Apple mobile devices in less than a year.
Ubisoft is also bringing cross-save functionality through Ubisoft Connect, so we can play the game on our mobile devices while we’re traveling, and then continue where we left off back at our console when we get home.
Available on the App Store starting 6th June, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be free to download and enjoy for the first 90 minutes. The full version of the game utilizes a Universal Purchase system, meaning a single in-app purchase unlocks the complete experience on both iPhone and iPad. Pre-orders are open now, so interested players can secure their copy early.
