Xiaomi Malaysia has officially launched the new tablet Pad 6S Pro 12.4 dedicated to those who have the budget for a laptop yet find tablets more suitable for their preference.
Before we start, if you just want to know how we feel about it, watch the review instead.
Operating on the brand’s HyperOS system, its inherent lightweight and efficient characteristics render it significantly more contemporary, responsive, and agile compared to the antiquated MIUI of yesteryears. While the computational components may be marginally “outdated,” being only a few years old, they still deliver ample performance capable of handling all your tasks and workloads.
Before delving into the specifications, let’s delve into the three new features introduced: Home Screen+, Cross-Device Collaboration, and Xiaomi Smart Hub. The first two features exhibit some similarities; Home Screen+ enables control inputs from a connected smartphone, facilitating actions such as reading and responding to messages or handling calls.
An example provided for the latter is, “Capture an image on your smartphone, then seamlessly embed it into the tablet’s Note app for swift and convenient documentation.” As for Xiaomi Smart Hub, true to its name, it grants access to and enables the configuration of all supported Xiaomi AIoT products directly from the tablet.
Complementing accessories include the Xiaomi Focus Pen boasting 8192 pressure sensitivity levels and a 240Hz sampling rate for precise and responsive inputs, while the Touchpad Keyboard functions akin to that of a laptop, offering straightforward usability.
