After many months since the rumored February store opening, the first Apple Store in Malaysia is finally going to open on 22nd June 2024 at 10am. It is located at The Exchange TRX, and it is located outdoors. I presume it can be entered through an underground section as well, but we’ll have to enter the building to know for sure.
Apple does have a countdown page that you can visit right now and download some official wallpapers specially designed for this momentous occasion. It’s the first Apple Store in Malaysia after all, and we’re eager to see what other things that Apple will bring to the market.
A few months ago, we predicted that Apple will bring the HomePod to the Malaysian market and voila, that happened about a month ago. Perhaps Apple will further improve Apple Maps in Malaysia and compete with Google Maps and Waze.
Having an Apple Store in Malaysia might also speed up the time taken for repairs.
