Update alert – Apple is bringing in a new update next month for the AirPods Max, bringing forth lossless audio and ultra-low latency for either better audio bitrate for magnificent audio quality, alongside low-latency audio to ensure the audio and visuals are synchronized. It’s actually an important thing to have if we’re playing action games or watching fast-paced movies.
We have to use a USB-C cable to experience up to 24-bit, 48kHz lossless audio and it also works with the Personalized Spatial Audio too. Just make sure to scan your ears with your iPhone beforehand and set up the profile.
Combined with lossless audio in Apple Music, we can enjoy absolute music bliss with this combination.
As for music producers and also gamers alike, we can use the ultra-low latency audio to ensure seamless synchronization between audio and visual.
Update availability
Apple will be bringing this new free software update in April via iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. If you’re interested to get the AirPods Max for yourself, then it’s priced at RM2,499 and available in midnight, starlight, blue, purple, and orange colors.
Apple also introduced a new USB-C to 3.5mm audio converter for RM219.
