It’s been long speculated that Apple will release a smart watch for its iOS devices, given the largely unexplored potential on Android, which Apple can do better. Sources also said that “Apple has filed at least 79 patent applications that include the word “wrist,” including one for a device with a flexible screen, powered by kinetic energy.

Leading designer is of course Jonathan Ive, who’s been designing most of the iconic Apple products and also the ever famous “Flowerpot design” for the iMac G4 alongside with Steve Jobs.

Can we actually see the iWatch by the end of the year? Maybe, but one can hope that it doesn’t get delayed further, as Steve Jobs would really want the product to be perfect before making its first debut. First impressions do matter a lot, don’t you think?
