This new model utilizes its 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom Selfie Camera that gives it the ability to take in a 100-degree field of view with ease, so that groups of people can fit more into the viewfinder while not getting squeezed against each other.
OPPO says the camera is designed to maintain natural facial proportions, helping keep subjects looking more natural while capturing additional background scenery. Meanwhile, the 50MP rear main camera runs a 1/2-inch large sensor, with OPPO claiming 70% higher light intake for improved low-light capture. A hybrid OIS + EIS anti-shake system is also included, alongside extended dynamic range, helping the camera maintain clarity in more challenging lighting conditions.
The phone also leans into AI-assisted photography with features designed to make everyday shots more creative.
AI Portrait Glow applies cinematic lighting effects to portraits, giving users another way to enhance photos when environmental lighting is less than ideal. Meanwhile, AI Popout 2.0 introduces an upgraded boundaryless live collage effect where photo elements can appear to break beyond the conventional frame.
For something a little more playful, AI Remix Collage combines static photos with custom sticker overlays, allowing users to create more personalised visual layouts without having to rely on a separate editing workflow.
Of course, taking plenty of photos and spending more time on a phone means battery life matters just as much.
The OPPO A7 Pro Max packs a 10,000mAh battery into an ultra-thin design, with the battery engineered to maintain its performance across 1,500 charge cycles. In practical terms, the company claims the battery can support more than 31 hours of TikTok playback or up to 15 hours of Mobile Legends gameplay at 60FPS.
And for charging, the 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charging is here to deliver a full 100% charge in just 91 minutes, or if needed, the device can be the one charging something else, as the 27W Reverse Wired Charging allows it to juice up accessories such as earbuds, smartwatches, other smartphones, mini outdoor fans, and makeup fill lights, adding some extra utility when there isn’t a convenient power outlet nearby.
