CMF has unveiled its first portable speaker lineup: the Speaker S and Speaker M, which combine distinctive geometric designs with balanced sound, durable build, and seamless connectivity for everyday listening.
To begin with, the CMF Speaker S is a compact, portable option with a built-in attachment point for bags or carabiners, while the larger Speaker M features an integrated handle for easy transport. Both models are available in White, Dark Grey, Orange, and Turquoise, with interchangeable front panels and knobs, as well as support for custom 3D-printed designs.
For audio, the Speaker S uses a 45mm full-range driver and dual passive radiators, delivering 10W RMS output across 70Hz–20kHz. On the other hand, the Speaker M features a dedicated 25W woofer and 10W tweeter for a combined 35W RMS output across 60Hz–20kHz.
Both models use hardware-based Adaptive Tuning to optimize sound in real time and offer Ultra Bass, Wide Soundstage, and four custom EQ presets through the Nothing X app. Stereo Mode pairs two identical speakers for left-and-right audio, while Auracast-powered Party Mode synchronizes playback across multiple compatible speakers, including supported models from other brands.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 6.0, NFC tap-to-pair, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, dual-device connections, and USB-C digital audio. Physical controls provide access to playback, volume, track navigation, Ultra Bass, and pairing, while Auto Wake Up automatically resumes operation when a paired device reconnects to a speaker on external power.
Furthermore, both speakers boast IP68-rated dust and water resistance, supporting submersion in up to 1.5m of water for 30 minutes, and offer up to 18 hours of playback at 50% volume with Ultra Bass enabled
With that said, the Malaysian pricing and availability for the CMF Speaker S and Speaker M will be announced at a later date.
