Tesla has announced three things at once: V2L Powershare across its lineup, an updated Model 3, and reservations for the new Roadster in Malaysia.
V2L Powershare
With V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) Powershare now in every new Model 3, Model Y, and Model Y L, all Tesla vehicles are V2L-capable. Owners can draw power straight from the car’s battery. Using the Tesla Outlet Adapter, the charge port becomes a 230V outlet (up to 13A), which is enough for lamps, power tools, and small appliances.
Updated Model 3
Every Model 3 now comes with a black headliner and a larger 16-inch centre touchscreen. A new Zen Grey interior and 19-inch Dark Nova wheels are available when configuring. Tesla also repeats that the Model 3 has earned top safety ratings from NHTSA and IIHS, Euro NCAP, ANCAP, and C-IASI.
New Roadster
The next-generation Roadster is now open for reservation in the United States and selected countries, including Malaysia. Inspired by the SR-71 and F-35’s design.
Reservations can be made online through the Tesla Malaysia Roadster page, with production starting in 2028, and the first cars will be left-hand drive only.
