ZTE has just released the latest U15S in Malaysia, a portable Wi-Fi device that combines built-in roaming across more than 150 countries, a 10,000mAh power bank, and Wi-Fi 6 support for up to 32 simultaneous connections, offering an all-in-one solution for staying connected on the go.
The ZTE U15S combines three functions in a pocketable device: global roaming across more than 150 countries and regions, a Wi-Fi 6 hotspot supporting up to 32 devices, and a 10,000mAh power bank with 18W bi-directional fast charging.
Travellers can purchase data packages by scanning a QR code and connect upon arrival without swapping SIM cards, while Malaysian users can insert their own SIM through the external slot for local connectivity.
The U15S also supports seamless access to international apps such as WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Grab, Shopee, Waze, and ChatGPT when travelling in China.
On top of that, the device offers three operating modes — Pocket Wi-Fi, Power Bank, and Airplane Mode — which can be switched seamless with a single button. Powered by a 10,000mAh battery, it delivers up to 26 hours of continuous hotspot use or 48 days of standby.
Its ZTE V3E-A53 dual-core chip with OFDMA intelligent bandwidth allocation helps maintain stable speeds under heavy loads, while Wi-Fi Direct via QR code eliminates manual password entry and a USB Type-C connection provides a low-latency option for laptops.
In terms of usability, the U15S features a 1.44-inch HD color display that shows QR codes, data usage, battery level, and connection status without requiring a companion app. Its curved chassis weighs 237g, while the WebUI portal provides controls for Wi-Fi settings, traffic monitoring, connected devices, firewall and SMS management, and firmware updates. The device has also undergone drop, micro-drop, temperature, salt-spray, USB Type-C, button-press, and compression testing.

Backed by a 12-month standard warranty, the new ZTE U15S (Grey) is now available in Malaysia for RM299.
