Chances are that you, fellow tech readers, might have already know about Leap Motion and have seen a couple of their prototype videos.
Leap Motion is a gesture interface device that will allow you to interact with your computer through gestures and motions in 3D space. The device works by scanning your finger position in 3D and translate it into cursor movement, multitouch control and handwriting/drawing.
It is compatible with Windows 7 and 8, Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and 10.8 Mountain Lion. They also created their own app market called Airspace. Companies such as Disney Interactive, ZeptoLab, Weather Channel, Autodesk and Corel has confirmed that they will be participating in this new interface’s app development.
The device is to be released on May 13th for pre-orders and will be available on the shelves in Best Buy, USA on May 19th.
Price was changed from $69.99 USD to $79.99 USD( RM 247.89 ).
