This small device will as well be the heads-up display for cars – only better and much more resourceful. This small device is called the Automatic Link, developed by the guys over at Automatic, plugs into your car “through the port where mechanics uses when you take your car in for service”.
It links to your smartphone via Bluetooth and alerts you over many things – fuel efficiency, speeding, rough braking, rapid acceleration, engine problem, where you parked your car, and even alerts the police or a few of your friends when a crash happened so that help is on the way instantly without you doing anything.
How about compatibility? Automatic claims that this little saviour “supports gasoline (non-diesel) cars sold in the US since 1996” and supports iPhones (shipping in May) and Androids (shipping this Fall; somewhere during September to December).
Still not convinced? Check out the video of it below!
The problem is though Proton and Perodua aren’t in the compatible cars list. Let’s just hope that they replicated Mitsubishi and Daihatsu cars in an exact way that even this sweet little Automatic Link can work.
