This coming Saturday, the 9th of May 2015, will be the day where we See What Others Can’t See, and ASUS has some of the biggest plans for us.
The full agenda for that day was released not long ago, and oh it’s a big event alright! However there seem to be other products which might be a limited edition product in Malaysia, or a hint on what the future brings.
Here, let’s take a look at what other ASUS products that might be brought over to the Malaysian shores on 9th May.
ZenPower
Back in Jakarta’s regional launch of the ZenFone 2, ASUS showed off some other products which they are bringing into the market, specifically the ZenPower which we also got our hands on.
The power banks here are relatively small, and holds an excessive amount of juice – 10,000mAh to be exact.
Again, based on the agenda that ASUS provided,it seems that all 4 colours of the ZenPower power banks will be given away. However I’m not sure if ASUS Malaysia will bring it over for sale.
Claiming that it’s the size of credit cards, it is however definitely a slightly larger than a credit card.
However the design is very similar to the Xiaomi’s 10,400 mAh power bank. Even the build quality is very similar but a lot slimmer, so let’s just hope that ASUS brings this to Malaysia!
ZenWatch
Now hear me out – the ZenWatch might potentially be brought over to Malaysia. Main point being that they are giving a smartwatch out during the event on 9th May. Not sure if they’re giving away the ZenWatch or the all new VivoWatch though.
There are a few reasons for this – firstly being the power adapter’s pins, as Malaysian is using the UK plug at 220V. At any chance, I doubt ASUS would bring the ZenWatch over from other countries that use UK plugs.
Secondly, are they really going to tease us through this event?
Other products?
There might be. Again back at Jakarta, they showed off some other products – accessories ranging from covers to earphones, and to camera flashes?
A brief rundown on each of these accessories is as below. Price is a direct conversion from Rupiah to Malaysian Ringgit.
- View Flip Cover Deluxe – Flip case with ring cutout for the ZenFone 2 – RM43.54
- ZenEar S – Higher end pair of earphones by ASUS – RM191.39
- ZenEar – The basic pair of earphones by ASUS – RM21.63
- ZenPower – 10,000mAh power bank – RM73.64
- Lolliflash – Click here for more information (Thanks KLGadgetGuy!) – RM32.58
- Zenflash – External flash module – RM65.43
Again, ASUS Malaysia might launch and bring all of these magical products to the market here. Also for the price, I really hope some of product prices are a little lower.
With this much speculation, take this with a pinch of salt. 9th of May is when everything will be confirmed!
