Ahhh… The all new Galaxy S7 Edge. All of the news have already been well-versed by now, so we’re not going to go along explaining what’s the Galaxy S7, but instead, we’ll focus on the launch event itself yesterday at KLCC’s very own Concourse area.
The event announcement itself started off with a very not-subtle video a few days prior to the event. What else could bring in the crowd more than an ambassador – someone that’s loved and adored by fans all over Malaysia? The real question was, who is the right ambassador?
From the homeland of Samsung – South Korea! Also, none other than Lee Kwang Soo, which apparently many Malaysians adore him (I didn’t know prior to today’s event) and hormones raged when this announcement was made.
Samsung Malaysia even uploaded a video of Kwang Soo filming himself, and talking about the event itself. “I will see you at KLCC“, he said. Apparently, this statement made many people’s hormones raged.
Of course, Samsung Mobile Malaysia did their best to calm the people there as they’re getting way too excited before the launching of the Galaxy S7 Edge even started. The amount of people there were crazy!
The event hasn’t even started yet, by the way.
When Lee Kwang Soo finally came out, I’m pretty sure the entire Suria KLCC reverberated by all the loud screaming and internal noise pollution produced by everyone shouting at Kwang Soo. I managed to get through the crowd and snap a few shots myself.
Not too bad for an event I would say.
