Taking a break from the usual Romer G switches, it seems that Logitech is now going back to Cherry MX switches – particularly an specifically the Cherry MX Brown switches only, for the brand new G610 Orion Brown.
The G610 Orion Brown has the usual Logitech’s bells and whistles, ranging from the customizable LED backlight alongside with full customization capability through Logitech’s Gaming Software, or LGS for short. This time around however, Logitech included fingerprint-masking matte texture, braided USB cable, and their proclaimed advanced LED key backlighting. The G610 Orion Brown also looks like it has a very slim profile too. According to their spec sheet, the key switches has an actuation distance of 2mm, an actuation force of 45g, and total travel distance of 4mm.
This keyboard isn’t low-cost either – it costs RM599 inclusive of GST.
We’ll have to wait until we get our hands on one of these babies, then we’ll report back to you guys. Stay tuned!
