This is the Doogee Y300. Surprisingly, it looks a lot like the Lumia smartphones with the 2.5D screen with rounded corners engulfed by the aluminium round-edge rim of the phone itself. I’m not criticizing its design – just wanted to point out the similarity, and personally, I like the design a lot.
Let’s not forget the back of the phone too. It has another piece of 2.5D glass at the back too. Actually, both front and back of the Doogee Y300 has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass, has a dimension of 138 x 70.6 x 6.7 mm dimension, yet weighs at only 145 grams. Beyond that, it has a 5-inch IPS display with 720p resolution too.
Underneath that screen is a 64-bit MediaTek MTK6735 chip with 1.3GHz quad-core processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. All of these power are complemented with 32GB of internal storage for all of the apps, pictures, and videos you need to store. Let’s not forget that the Doogee Y300 has another microSD card slot too!
The Doogee Y300 has a 13MP camera, powered by the Sony IMX219 sensor, and another 5MP for the selfie camera too.
Other details of the Doogee Y300 is the 2,200mAh battery, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Doogee’s very own skin which they claim will run smoothly without any stuttering issues.
The Doogee Y300 is available now and retailing at only RM599, and is available in black, white, and gold.
