In lieu of Huawei P9’s launch last Satuday, here’s the biggest and baddest in the series – the P9 Plus. I’m pretty sure some of us have already seen this coming, and obviously there’s no surprise to me either.
The new Huawei P9 Plus differs from the basic P9 by having a slightly larger screen at 5.5-inches, but upgraded to a Super AMOLED screen, yet still sporting the 1080p resolution. Other than that, the Huawei P9 Plus features stereo speakers, a much better f/1.9 front-facing camera for your selfies, and even has infrared! Last and definitely the biggest change is the upgrade to a slightly bigger 3,400mAh battery.
With these upgrades, how much does the Huawei P9 Plus really cost, you may ask. The answer to that is RM2,599. Massive price half a thousand increase from the basic P9 too, actually.
