This is the brand new re-imagined lineup of smartphones from Sony, and presumably a reboot of the series that is resulted from mistakes from the past, and actually appeal to the customers. Introducing the Xperia X.
The Xperia X is the name of the smartphone, and also the name of the entire lineup of smartphones that Sony has in store for us. The Xperia X sports some interesting specs too, and pretty decent for that matter.
- 5-inch 1080p display with TRILUMINOS, X-Reality, Dynamic Contrast Enhancement (Sony exclusives)
- 23MP f/2.0 rear-facing camera with Exmor RS sensor, predictive hybrid autofocus
- 13MP f/2,0 front-facing camera for low-light selfies
- Metal finish
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset with 64-bit hexa-core CPU, Adreno 510 GPU
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB or 64GB storage options
- Measely 2620mAh battery
- Available in Rose Gold, Lime Gold, Graphite Black, and White
The specs above, I’m thinking everything is more or less okay for a mid-range smartphone with a better camera to stand out in the crowd. Personally speaking, I’m willing to pay about a thousand and a half for this smartphone, with the Honor 7 as a baseline.
