Google Glass is truly an amazing device. You’ve seen how that thing works. You’ve seen how it can change your life. If you still have no idea about what this device can already do, check it out below.
Another video about how many people would misuse it, there’s also a (very possible reality) parody posted here.
Google Glass – a device that’s not even released to the market yet, already faced a no-entry sign in a Seattle bar, and now ‘Stop The Cyborgs’ is founded, all because of privacy concerns.
It’s still a mere concern for now. There are some points pointed out by Stop The Cyborgs that made sense, like how we will will never know if we’re being recorded. Though, an LED indication light can fix that in an instant. It’s being dubbed as a surveillance device – I doubt that they had ever thought about it properly though.
Should we ever be afraid of this though? Cameras are small, cheap and portable enough to be used on mobile phones and small little video cameras, just like a spy camera would be.
This entire privacy issue does however, reminds of me Google’s Ingress, where we all leave among each other but we’re internally divided – to be one of the Resistance or the Enlightened – it’s your choice.
