It seems like everybody is hyping about the new Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z but have they seen the new HTC One yet?
Just by looking at the picture during the launch I thought to myself, “This is gorgeous!”
HTC have proven themselves that they are able to stand out among their competitors. HTC One X was a start but it did not have enough momentum. However, HTC One might!
Hardware
The phone is made out of a single block of anodized aluminium; there are no joints in any part of the structure. Each block spend about 200 minutes being carved in a CNC machine.
The Gorilla Glass 2 seamlessly blends into the aluminium body making it a very gorgeous, single block, unibody phone.
The back of the phone is slightly curved to give the ergonomic and comfortable feel in your hand. It is as thick as 9.3 mm only and weighs 143 grams. The phone is so solid that it reassures you that it won’t shatter into a million pieces if dropped.
Display
It is fitted with a 4.7 inch S-LCD3 with 1080p resolution. There are two capacitive softkeys button at the bottom of the screen, standard HTC’s back and multitask button.0 AF lens. But wait, there more!
HTC have thrown in a next-gen image signal processor(ISP) named ImageChip 2 which is capable of autofocus in less than 200 milliseconds, reducing noise and real-time lens compensation with 1080 HDR video recording capability. The camera also have a buffer which takes several pictures even before you press the shutter button so you won’t miss anything.
Performance
Snapdragon 600 (APQ8064T), 1.7 GHz Quad-core CPU with Adreno 320 GPU and a 2GB RAM. This phone is a beast! So far, Snapdragon 600 is the strongest processor in the market.

One of the few things I just love about the HTC is the matured interface design. Samsungs UI looks a little childish as if it were made in the web 2.0 flashy buttons fad back in 2007
Agreed, their icons and font is very childish indeed. I think they are trying to promote “User friendliness” here but comic sans will never work.
