“Lumia Y U SO mean to us all?”
The outcry that went when the news came. While most of the loyal Lumia fans were expecting an update for the Windows phone, a certain gasp of terror rain down as an announcement was made. The anarchy that it produced cause spasms of rage and annoyance and more “How can you do this?” as Nokia’s Facebook page caught fire of faithful phone followers.
The highly anticipated Windows Phone 8 Portico update for the Lumia phones in Malaysia was put at standstill as the OTA update caught a bump in the road to our shores. Thousands beg to differ; asking when will the update actually come along while the rest seem to be more annoyed on the redundancy of Nokia Malaysia’s inexplicable capability to actually give a coherent answer to their questions.
To their credit, they did provide an alternative way to get the update but while going to the shopping mall to get something fixed may seem like a routine habit; one must wonder the cost to bear for trying to test the annoyance an angry Nokia mob waiting for Lumia phones to get updated on the spot.
But those that just can’t seem too wait to get your Lumia phones polished with the new firmware, all props to you and I will leave you with the time and place to do so.
Until then, I will continue doing drop tests on my own Lumia 920 to get by the day for saying screw you for making me wait for your update, Nokia.
