The ASUS Zenbo was announced a little less than half a hear ago, during their pre-Computex event. We covered the news here, but that’s a really long time ago. Let’s have a quick recap on what the ASUS Zenbo is all about.
By the simplest definition, it’s a companion robot. It’s designed to provide entertainment and to help around the house across all generations. I think the video introducing Zenbo highlights its features and capabilities the most.
From all the information that we’ve got, it seems that ASUS did a lot of improvements too. Here are just a few of the key points, provided by ASUS themselves.
Zenbo is a smart little companion designed to provide assistance, entertainment, and companionship to families.
Until now, there is no pricing in Taiwanese Dollar. We do expect ASUS to stick with the USD $599 price tag that they’ve bestowed upon the it during its debut in Computex this year. That translates to about ~NTD $19,265, and I expect ASUS to be selling it at NTD $19,999. Let’s not hope for a Malaysian release of the Zenbo just yet, though.
Anyway, here’s a real quick Christmas wish by 10 Zenbos – check it out now!
