BIOSTAR just announced their brand new Z270 Racing series of motherboards, kick off with a total of 3 different motherboards. Currently, there are no pricing or availability for all of BIOSTAR Z270 motherboards in Malaysia yet, but we’ll surely keep you updated when we have more information.
First off, the BIOSTAR Racing Z270GT8. This is their flagship motherboard, which touts RAM support of up to DDR4-3600 speed and 64GB. IT also has an M.2 slot with integrated cooling protection to ensure it’s not thermal throttling. Also, there’s support for USB 3.1 too.
The BIOSTAR Z270GT8 Racing is priced at $329 (~RM 1,468.16), and comes bundled with Intel 600p 256GB M.2 SSD!

Secondly, the BIOSTAR Z270GT6 Racing. The main difference is the lower supported maximum RAM speeds at 3200MHz, has only one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, a single U.2 port, and no support for USB 3.1. Of course, there are major differences too. More information in the full comparison table below.
The BIOSTAR Z270GT6 Racing is priced at $209 (~RM 932.66), and comes bundled with a BIOSTAR G300 Series 240GB SSD.

Thirdly, the BIOSTAR Z270GT4 Racing. This is a micro-ATX form factor, but packs two PCIe 3.0 slots – one at x16, and another at x4, alongside with two more PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. Other than one less USB 3.0 port, everything else is pretty identical to the BIOSTAR Z270GT6 Racing.
The BIOSTAR Z270GT4 Racing comes bundled with a BIOSTAR VIVID LED DJ fan and will have a price of $129 (~RM 575.66)!
