Denmark is always going green. This time they have done it again with their 3.6 megawatt offshore wind turbine., which translates to 25% of Denmark’s energy needs. More amazing that they finally broke the one gigawatt wind energy threshold.
They are not stopping there as Denmark’s government wants to install more turbine so that they can provide up to 50% of Denmark’s energy consumption in which it will be up and running in eight years time.
Their goal is to be able to power up 100% of the country’s energy demand by 2050. Seems impossible but people also once said it’s impossible to go to the moon.
