I think we’re all rather anxious on when the Huawei P10 is going to arrive in Malaysia. I mean, at this point of time, we all pretty much already know what the Huawei P10 is all about – or do we?

We’ve covered the news regarding the Huawei P10 and P10+ here, but there’s also a lesser-mentioned Huawei P10 Lite too. Let’s go through them briefly again, just to refresh our memory. Huawei even provided us a very handy table for comparison and reference!

With this table, I actually see the prominent difference and superiority of the Huawei P10+. I mean, having a auto-focusing selfie camera is something that is not found in many smartphones. The last time I’ve seen this feature on a smartphone was the ASUS ZenFone Selfie – and that’s about 1.5 years old already!

Now for the price of the Huawei P10 family, I’m actually surprised that the P10 is priced competitively at RM 2,499, whereas the exclusive P10+ is at RM 3,099. While most people need the justification of the extra cost, I think it’s worth it for a bigger screen, higher resolution, more RAM, more storage, larger battery, and an even more powerful camera.

As mentioned before, there are a total of 8 different colours to choose from in the Huawei P10 family of smartphones, but Huawei Malaysia is only bringing in two colours.
Maybe they’ll be bringing more colours soon? Hint hint 😉

I hope the Dazzling Blue and Greenery will come soon!

By the way, the Huawei P10 and the P10 Lite will be available for pre-orders starting March 23rd on Lazada, Vmall, and Huawei Experience Stores nationwide! The P10 Plus will come later.
Stay tuned – and we’ll definitely update you on this.

But wait – there’s more!

The announcement wasn’t for the Huawei P10 family of smartphones only, as Huawei also announced the Nova Lite and the Huawei Watch 2 and Huawei Watch 2 Classic. Prices and availability are not announced yet, by the way.

The Huawei Nova Lite comes with a 5.2-inch 1080 screen, Kirin 650 chipset with an octa-core 2.0GHz processor, 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, 12MP rear-facing camera, and an 8MP selfie camera. To top it all off, it has a 3,000mAh battery. Obviously, this is a lower-end device – and on paper, it’s rather similar to the Honor 8 Lite.

As for the Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic, we’ve covered it in depth here.

Again, there are no prices or availability for the Huawei Nova Lite and Watch 2/Watch 2 Classic as of now. We’ll definitely update you when we have more information on this!
