Whenever I ever went to any of the gadget stores recently, I see lots of USB drives. Most of them have this generic design they’re trying to achieve – either being extremely tiny as an “expandable storage” for laptops, or one that has OTG capabilities for easy data transfer. Apacer wants to bring more than just convenience with the AH13A and AH15A – and here’s what they’ve got.

AH13A & AH15A

Firstly, both the AH13A and AH15A has god an all metal finish design, as the former has a mirrored silver finish and the latter has a black nickel finish. For robustness of the chips inside the metal housing, Apacer used COB technology, also known as chip-on-board, to ensure that these USB drives are “accident-proof”.

By “accident-proof” I mean that both AH13A and AH15A are actually waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof! this is the true meaning of robustness of a portable device – and it only gets better.

Built with convenience in mind, the AH13A and AH15A have a snap hook that lets you hook into anything you like. Just press the button and attach it to any metal ring on your handbag or keychain as a piece of accessory. Since it’s a capless design, no one will have to worry about losing a cap. Also – let’s be honest, other USB drives with a plastic hole break off easily.

The AH15A are using USB 3.1 Gen 1 (USB 3.0), but the AH13A is using USB 2.0 standards. Both of them come in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. However, the AH15A comes in a massive 128GB variant too.
