Another day, another smartphone? Not quite – the HTC Desire 650 promises something for the lower-priced smartphones. After their HTC U11’s magnificent squeezy squeeze innovation. HTC didn’t forget about the much lower-priced smartphones too.
Firstly, the price. I’m pretty sure most of you already know, that the price is only at RM619. This is fantastic – but what does it offer?
Glad you asked – the Desire 650 is a 5-inch smartphone with a 720p IPS display, MediaTek MT6736t chipset with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 32GB of storage, 3GB of RAM. Even comes with 32GB of storage and microSD card slot too – but we’re not sure if that slot is shared with SIM2 or not, as there are no official statement on this matter.
Anyway, the Desire 650 comes with a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP selfie camera too. All of these are topped off by a relatively okay 3,000mAh battery. Again, this smartphone isn’t meant to do much, so having 3,000mAh might be plentiful for the Desire 650’s target audience anyway.
I mean, at the price of RM619, it’s quite difficult to resist the value you’re getting.
