Ever wondered what’s it like to have an external HDD optimized for Mac out of the box? Of course, with a design as elegant as Apple’s too. Well, now don’t want to wonder anymore as it is available for sale – introducing the Transcend StoreJet 200 portable hard drive.
The brand new StoreJet 200 is simple – it takes Apple’s elegant design and create an external hard disk around that idea. The end result is simply gorgeous – it has an aluminium body that’s thin and light. Only 9.95mm thin and 133 grams. Looking at this StoreJet 200, the design is reminiscent of the StoreJet 25C3N that we reviewed here.

The new StoreJet 200 has a silver color finish instead of a gunmetal grey, matching it with your MacBook’s aluminium color.
With only a single USB-C port at one end of the StoreJet 200, it aims to be the most elegant and simple-to-use external hard disk for Mac users. It’s pre-formatted to Apple’s proprietary HFS+ file system, so you can connect it to your Mac and use it for Time Machine right away.
And of course, you can pair the StoreJet 200 with the Transcend Elite software. It can help you manage your data easily so you can have a peace of mind knowing that your data will be backed up automatically to your external hard disk silently.
Transcend is offering the StoreJet 200 for Macs with up to 2TB in capacity, and it’s backed by Transcend’s 3-year limited warranty.
