We did review the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Pro here – and we have it a 7.6 rating. It lacks most in the camera department, but the camera far outweighs its other cons. Yet now, with the superbly cheap price, it’s even better.
I highly recommend you to check out our review of it here.

Sure, its design is not particularly pretty, and the screen is still using the old school 16:9 aspect ratio panel – but again, its price. It comes with:
- 5.5-inch 720p IPS display with 16:9 aspect ratio
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset (28nm process, not FinFET)
- 1.4GHz Cortex-A53 octa-core
- Adreno 505 graphics
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB eMMC storage
- 5,000mAh battery
Now, what other smartphones can you get for the price of RM699? Quite a lot, actually. Just that the other smartphones are using some even more sub-par hardware and doesn’t even have a fingerprint scanner, or some horrible MediaTek chipset.
If that’s not enough to convince you that this price drop is magnificent, perhaps you should take a look at the result from our battery test result – It lasted for nearly 15 and a half hours. Wow.
How about charging the battery back up to a 100%? Takes 5 hours. No biggie. Just plug it in and get some sleep instead.
From what we can tell, this promotion is going on right now and it’ll last forever. Yes – this is a permanent price cut – not some sort of promotion. If you’re looking to get a smartphone with large battery and costs RM700, then make your way to your favourite phone store right now and get the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Pro.
