To all you audiophile, or just enjoys good music on your Android device, this might be the app just for you. This app is not an ordinary equalizer that you can find on Google Play that will turn your ordinary music experience into a mind-blowing experience but actually quite similar to DSP Manager as this app offers more controls and knobs to your music. You will notice a great deal of difference in terms of sound quality right after activation, and I must admit it is worth the trouble during installation.
Installation part is a bit tricky. Unlike any equalizer, this app will require root access. Instructions on XDA are slightly complicated but the steps should be simple once you figure it out. For convenience sake, the author even put up the recommended setting on one of the post. It is highly recommended to follow the setting as I find it quite balance. Besides, this app has been tested on both HTC One X and also a Samsung Galaxy S (yes, the good old S1 – GT9000) and they seems to work perfectly, so it is safe to say that it should be compatible to nearly all Android devices.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the author is actually a fellow Malaysian!
