Just after a few months of the early release of Google Glass, it has made competitors such as one from the Chinese search engine company.
Epson Moverio is supposed to be a personal display device but developers at APX labs can’t resist to turn it into something more. The device is more bulky than the polished Google Glass but it has everything Google Glass can do. It is equipped with a camera, nine-axis motion sensor and a microphone which can input motion gesture and voice controls.
They are now developing a new system – Northstar. It is more like a Virtual reality program in which you can interact with certain digital points or objects to access their AR content.
Live video feed is a must! This device can share recorded videos or even stream live feed for your friends(or agents) to see.
Hopefully, there will be more “glass” product produced in the near future just like our variety of Android phones. Of course, without the numerous different operating systems which contributes to fragmentation.
