TOSA project, a mass transit system that hopes to revolutionize the electric vehicle market in the near future is now focusing on buses as a start. Together with public transport authority in Geneva (hehe), they are designing bus that will run on batteries together with flash chargers! This will mean that the buses will never have to dock for hours of recharge.
The schedule will be almost as the same as a normal bus system because of this flash charger technology because you only take minutes spent charging these batteries instead of hours. Just last Sunday, TOSA bus prototype are rolling on the local streets for the first time.
Soon enough, maybe we could see every petrol station is equipped with flash chargers and people could spend just as much time as they would to fill up a normal petrol cars. Electricity is far cheaper obviously and could reduce harmful emissions dramatically! Even better, imagine that every station’ roof have a solar panel installed! 😀 PROFIT!
I can see a future where we can use the sun, wind and various renewable energy source that won’t cause pollution. This could mean that we are getting closer into establishing a relationship with mother nature. Humans are doing things what nature always did, such as plants using photosynthesis; cars using solar power 🙂
