I think Xiaomi just made the most accessible 5G smartphone that is available in the market right now. Introducing the brand new Mi 10 Lite 5G. Available starting May at only €349. That’s insane.
So let’s get on with the specs first. We do not know the exact specs yet but from what we’ve gathered, the Mi 10 Lite comes with:
- 6.57-inch Super AMOLED display
- Snapdragon 765G chipset
- Quadruple rear-facing cameras
- Main: 48MP
- 16MP selfie camera
- Up to 128GB of internal storage
- 4,160mAh battery
- 20W fast charging
For the cameras, we have no idea what cameras are included. It could be a main + telephoto + ultra-wide + macro camera, or maybe the telephoto is replaced with a depth sensor.
From what we know, this new Mi 10 Lite 5G can also shoot 120fps slow-motion videos, ShootSteady technology, and can also record LOG format videos.
While 5G is still in development, it doesn’t hurt to have 5G-ready devices right now. When the technology starts to become more ubiquitous, then we can all enjoy 5G at an instant.
Xiaomi is really pushing 5G forward as this is indeed the most accessible 5G smartphone in the world right now. For just €349, it is about ~RM1,664.97. For me, I commend Xiaomi’s execution of making 5G so accessible at such a low price.
