Well, the image above pretty much tells you how many devices Samsung spammed the market with. From low-range to mid-range high-end phones and tablets, Samsung pretty much covers from small phones to tablets, and even phablets – not to mention the unconventional choices of a tablet-which-is-a-phone and phone-which-is-a-tablet devices.

Remember back in the days when HTC spammed the market with devices and it didn’t sell well? HTC fell into an abyss and really did hit them hard. They didn’t actually get back up after all these years – they’re still trying to climb, as HTC One is Peter Chau’s last resort. Now, you have a bunch – specifically 26 – devices from Samsung that is under the Galaxy branding.

Back to the main topic, do you think that Samsung is spamming the market too much? Surely Samsung isn’t suffering from any losses since both its flagship devices – the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note – is doing exceptionally well. Though I wonder, when will Samsung stop spamming the market?

As a speculation, Samsung is doing this and achieving two goals – promoting their entire Galaxy product line which will boost overall sales and profit, or on the other hand hinder their profit for the worse. Then again, Samsung might have an elaborate decade-long plan in their hands in progress now.

What do you think about Samsung’s marketing strategy? Is it good, or bad, or is it double-edged?
