Samsung has revealed the new arrivals of Samsung QLED TVs for the Malaysian market just in time for the Hari Raya season where promotions are available until the end of June.

The models that have been brought into are The Sero, The Serif, and The Frame, which all of them utilize state-of-the-art quantum processors, Object Tracking Sounds+, Active Voice Amplifier and Adaptive Sound+ to bring you the next level of immersion.

We talked about these three TVs before – but here’s a quick recap on all of these TVs.

The Sero

The Sero render

Wish you can pivot your TV like your monitor freely between horizontal and vertical? The Sero grants you the power to do so. Carrying the meaning of “vertical” in Korean, it can display contents from mobiles and tablets without worrying orientation compatibility and supported by top-level QLED technology with 100% color volume by Quantum Dot, I bet mobile games would look real good on this screen.

The Serif

Designed by Paris-based Ronan & Erwan Bourollec, this TV focuses more on the artistic feel of creators bringing the theme of harmony and presentation to the eyes of the viewer. Apparently, its Magic Screen feature will let you enjoy content in a unique way like never before. Even though sometimes art can be simple as it is, it looks more like a premium digital whiteboard made of QLEDs to me.

The Frame

The Frame render

The Frame is illiterate as it is. Think of it as a digital picture frame where stunning pictures and vivid scenes can be added as much as you want, except that you can watch shows with it as well. It has a brightness sensor to calibrate the surroundings accordingly to fit the picture, motion sensor that turns off the display for conservation, and a smart timer setting that displays specific pictures at specific times.

By the way, Samsung also announced that there will be 38 new pieces of art from Thyssen Museum in Spain to its Art Store in The Frame. The new additions include masterpieces painted by artists such as Claude Monet or Auguste Renoir. Some other highlights include The Stevedores in Arles by Vincent van Gogh or Bottle, Carafe, Jug and Lemons by Paul Cézanne, Woman on a Divan, by August Macke and several pieces by the Italian landscape painter, Canaletto.

The collection also incorporates one of Picasso’s disciples and master of Spanish Cubism, Juan Gris, and his work, The Smoker, in addition to the remarkable female artist, Lyubov Popova, and her masterpiece Painterly Architectonic (Still Life: Instruments), known for its reference to Constructivism. Artistic movements such as German Expressionism are also included.

With Samsung’s The Frame, we can enjoy these 44 pieces of exquisite art pieces from Thyssen Museum in the comfort of our homes with vivid picture quality.

Samsung’s The Frame Thyssen Museum

This is the third collection from a Spanish art gallery to be part of Samsung The Frame partnership. With Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum joining the collections, Samsung Art Store now has more than 1,200 art pieces and photographs in 4K quality from museums and galleries around the world such as the Prado Museum in Madrid, the Albertina Museum in Vienna, the Tate Modern in London, the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Hermitage State Museum in Saint Petersburg, Magnum Photos and LUMAS.

All these art pieces are available both under a single purchase and a monthly subscription.
