Over at Dallas, Texas, Nokia has managed to achieve a new high on 5G networks as its download speed clocked in at a maximum speed of 4.7Gbps in Over-The-Air (OTA) networks with its Nokia AirScale 5G solution.

With such a huge boost in bandwidth available for both commercial and professional use, general consumer experience is expected to be as close as optic fiber connections. And it seems like Nokia is confident enough to lead the U.S back to industry leaders position, as commented by President of Mobile Networks Tommi Uitto:

This is an important and significant milestone in the development of 5G services in the U.S, particularly at a time when connectivity and capacity are so crucial. It demonstrates the confidence operators have in our global end-to-end portfolio and the progress we have made to deliver the best possible 5G experiences to customers. We already supply our mmWave radios to all of the major US carriers and we look forward to continuing to work closely with them moving forward.

Honestly, I just wish that 5G can get deployed faster. There are also people who are burning down valuable wireless telecommunication infrastructure because of the horribly misleading claim that 5G causes COVID-19. No thanks to these people, 5G deployment is especially difficult for this year.
