Shopee has announced that they are partnering with Asia’s leading entertainment and lifestyle company CJ ENM to bring KCON:TACT 2020, the world’s largest Korean culture festival, online for the first time.
KCON is a highly-anticipated annual event for Kpop fans around the world and 2020 is the 9th year of the ultimate Korean culture fan experience that goes online for the first time in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, with Shopee as the official live stream partner for the KCON:TACT 2020 Summer concert and is free for all users to watch.
The festival will kick off starting 10 June that aims to meet the growing demand for online entertainment amid social distancing measures in the region. Popular Kpop groups will also make special appearances on Shopee Live, while Shopee users can enjoy daily Kpop themed streams and challenges.
On 10 Jun 8 p.m. WSJN will lead the stream while Weki Meki’s turn will be on 15 Jun 8 p.
